to experience Real whole-body and soul nourishment while adhering to the Truth, Beauty,
and Goodness of our Catholic faith and tradition.
Come Be Nourished in the Bread of Life Hall by...
- Real food
- Real (safe) guided low-impact movement (not yoga)
- Real wisdom from Scripture & the CCC
- Real community
- Real presence of Christ
Real Food...
Get ready to roll up your sleeves with Jesus-lover and homemaker-extraordainaire Becky Richards of House of Gold Homemaking! As a culinary chef and nutrition expert, she will guide you through preparing a delicious and nutrient-dense meal. You will feast together in community while applying mindful eating practices that will help you savor the moment and many more to come! Other drinks and snacks will be provided throughout the day. Recipes from the day's deliciosness will be provided in our retreat workbook/notebook. You will receive this via email as a pdf to print and bring to the retreat.
Real (safe) guided low-impact movement...
Movements are nutrients for the body! Nourish your body through guided (low impact) movement routines that will wake up your sedentary parts and get more of you moving. Explore the importance of daily movement for the body and soul. Discover how to bring movement into your prayer life and enhance both!
All fitness levels and ability will benefit. This is not yoga.
Real presence of Christ...
We will incorporate prayer into entire day. Adoration, Confession, and the Mass will be offered in the afternoon. It doesn't get much more real than that!
Real wisdom from Scripture & the CCC...
What does Scripture and the Catechism of the Catholic Church say about our bodies, our health, and living well?
You'll be encouraged, coached, and motivated by Scripture and tradition to pursue wellness for you and your family and keep Christ at the center of your pursuit. Your retreat workbook will give you the opportunity to continue exploring and tapping into this area long after the retreat.
Real community...
We cannot grow in faith or wellness in isolation. We need a real community of believers who want to orient their bodies and souls toward Heaven together. We need to encourage each other in person and walk the path shoulder to shoulder.
